Networking related cmd

Some network related command   in cmd promote

In command promote to know anything about any program just type that command and enter and ? in the next line like (ftp enter and ? In the next line)

then here it will show all related command of the following command

Ipconfigall

Ipconfig/all is use for know all information about the network and name and Ethernet address.

1.       Run

2.       Type cmd

3.       Then type ipconfig/all

4.       Then we will get all information about the network and name and Ethernet address.

Telnet

Telnet is use for access to any domain from my pc.

1.       Run

2.       Type Cmd

3.       Then type telnet www.hanif.com

4.       The domain have to be give the permission to access the from the computer.

FTP

FTP is use for download and upload the file.

1.       Run

2.       Type cmd

3.       Then type ftp

4.       The type ?

5.       Then we will get lot of command what we can use in our job.

NETSTAT

This command is use for know the TCP/IP connection and protocol state

1.      Run

2.      Type cmd

3.      Then type netstat

4.      Then we will get some command what we can use.

NBTSTAT

This command is use for know about net BIOS present condition.

1.      Run

2.      Type cmd

3.      Tpe nbtstat

4.      Then we will get some command which we can use .

Hostname

This command is use for know the host name

1.      Run

2.      Type Cmd

3.      Type hostname

4.      Then the hostname will be shown

Finger

This command is for know about system user

1.      Run

2.      Type cmd

3.      Type finger

4.      Then we will get the information about system user

Ping

This command is use to check the connection

1.      Run

2.      Type cmd

3.      Type ping

4.      Then we will able to know all command about ping

5.      But all command have to be use as the example(ping 4.2.2.2 –t)

Nslookup

1.      Run

2.      Type cmd

3.      Type nslookup www.yahoo.com

4.      Then we get the information about the website

Arp –a

This command is use for see the MAC address in our computer and the neighbor IP and MAC

1.      Run

2.      Type cmd

3.      Type arp –a

4.      Then we will get the IP address

Tracert

This command is use for know to go in a dedicated website how much router and hops will cross the data packet all this will show by time and detail.

1.      Run

2.      Type cmd

3.      Type tracert www.google.com

4.      Then it will show all information about the destination.
