Windows Server
To check the DNS
server in windows server

Cmd prompt

Ping (www.hanif.com
or the IP address of the DNS) then the IP of the DNS server will reply.

OR search as the NS
(nslookup www.hanif.com) then the cmd

Account lockout
policy
1.
We can set the policy, if
the user give the right password the user can use the network and if not then
they will not able to use the network.
2.
We can set the policy that
how many times a user gives the wrong password and how many wrong passwords can
lock user account.
Kerberos policy
We can
give a time like to the user by a ticket.

To change any properties of
the user we just have to right click of the user account and have to be select
to properties.
2. Then we will get lot of
options as like below picture.

If we want to join any
group then we have to click on member of tab and click to add below and click
to Find Now tab and then have to select the domain what we want.
Create
organizational unit
Start- Administrative tools- Active directory users and
computers.
Make an
organization Unit

Just right click to the
domain name

New

Then write the name.

Then the organization will
complete
Make a group
(Under every organization there must have a group and all user should have to
move to the group)

Right click to the
organization

New

Group

Then right the name of the
group.
Add user to the
group

Under user folder select
the user and right click the user name

Move select

Select the group name.

Again right click on the
user name

Add to a group

Again if we want to add a
user to a membership then do it as the user properties system.
To add a domain

Right click to the my
computer

Properties

Computer name tab click

There is the domain name
option

Write the domain name.
Secure the folder
or drive

Right click on that place (Folder
or drive)

Properties

Security tab click

Then we will get options
what we want to do about security

If we want to add any user

the user name.
Group policies

Right click on the group

Group policy click

New

Right a new name

Edit by select the name

Then we will get few
options to change

click (as an example)

Then we will find some options.
